About Madison

Madison, the capitol of Wisconsin, is located in southcentral Wisconsin. Located one hour from Milwaukee, two and half hours from Chicago, and four and half hours for the Twin Cities. Teams can fly direct into Dane County Regional Airport (MSN) with direct flights from 18 different cities and connections from dozens of other airports.  

Madison is a vibrant city of over 500,000 with many LGBT owned establishments and community groups. While in Madison check out our many craft breweries, coffee shops, local restaurants and don't forget to grab some cheese curds. Fields & Brackets

Play will take place at McGaw Park in Fitchburg, Wisconsin. McGaw Park includes ample parking, pavilion with concessions, and four softball fields. The park also includes a playground, sand volleyball courts, tennis courts, 1.5-mile trail cuts through a 30-acre woodland. Men's and Women's restrooms are available at the pavilion as well as an all gender portable bathroom located near the fields.

Concessions will be available on site. All proceeds support Badgerland Softball League. Cash preferred; $10 minimum for credit card purchases. 


Please no carry-ins. 


Additional Details


The first four teams eliminated during the tournament in the D Division will be entered into the Cheese Cup.  This will be a single elimination tournament with semi-final games and a Championship.




The umpires will choose which team showed the best spirit during the tournament.  The trophy is in honor of Felicia Melton-Smyth who was a big supporter and advocate for Badgerland Softball and a member of the trans community. Winners of the FMS Spirit Award will receive automatic entry into next year's tournament.
